I see your point. It is just that this year my wife and I will be celebrating our thirtieth anniversary, and everyday we grow more and more in love. It was I who had the problem, but my wife never once blamed me for anything. We know that if it was God's will for us to have a child we would, and if not, then it would all work out for the better as He promises in Romans 8:28.

Lack of children? What if either the husband or wife is not capable of having children, can they not love each other still?

When God is the foundation of any marriage, love will survive, and you are absolutely right, love will grow stronger with the passing of the years.
