Clandestine activities grip the Nation

Information filtering?

IT HAS been held that it is no secret that the opposition has been overtly trying to overthrow the democratically elected government.
They have been drumming up all kinds of nonsensical reasoning to justify their alleged actions. Now it has been brought to light that this election seems to be their do or die effort to create chaos and destruction to cripple the government and force it out of power by whatever force necessary.
The alleged recent conversations between the Commissioner of Police and a known opposition Member of Parliament leave one to wonder what is really happening in Guyana.
Imagine this is the chief cop and as claimed on the tape he is sarcastically joking about missing high powered weapons. This is really unacceptable. As a Guyanese I am joining with other Guyanese in demanding that the Commissioner of Police should do the decent thing and resign.
What kind of information filtering is being done by the chief cop and the opposition?
If I remember correctly the PNCR and its supporters demanded that the former Home Affairs Minister resign for alleged wrongdoings on the basis of similar phone conversations.
I am getting the impression that the opposition is in bed with these criminals creating havoc in my homeland and it also seems they know a lot more about missing weapons than meets the eyes. If as is claimed that the opposition will refuse to participate in the elections and then use the weapons to create terror and disturbance around the country, I will urge my fellow Guyanese to demand international forces be allowed in to provide protection in a professional manner for our brothers and sisters.
A few sources are alleging that the PNCR terror scheme is already under way and things will heat up more seriously come closer to the elections. This is foreboding for the Guyanese people.
What is the government waiting for after so many bloodbaths on the people of Guyana? How many more of us will have to die unnecessarily before the government brings in overseas professional police personnel to work alongside our own police officers to prevent further bloodshed and put an end to the unethical practices going on?
It has become too obvious that some cops in Guyana have failed the people of Guyana miserably when it comes to professional performance of their duties and responsibilities. Where in the world would cops less than five minutes away refuse to turn up at the scene of the crime in action until the criminal acts have been completed and the criminals have left?
How long has this been going on for? Who is accountable? Who was at the station when the reports were made? Who took the reports? Why was no action taken immediately?
Why aren't heads rolling and disciplinary action taken?
It is not only disrespectful to the Guyanese people but downright disgraceful that every time a crime is being committed the telephone lines are non-functioning. Who has responsibility for monitoring the calls coming in from citizens under attack? Who is disseminating information about reports coming in and to whom? Why does it seem like these hot lines are always being jammed whenever a crime is taking place?
What is GT&T doing about this kind of nefarious repeated activity?
These are issues that have to be dealt with head-on and cannot continue to be ignored by the government and those who have responsibility for such matters.A.P

Bloodbath in Guyana

Criminals Unleashes Bloodbath in Guyana

Collaborators, instigators and politicians who have encouraged criminal acts in Guyana in the name of freedom fighters or whether to destabilize the country or make Guyana ungovernable; have almost accomplished their goals. The television talk show host with their daily bitter guile and filth has had a field day over the airwaves unabated. The politicians have poisoned their gullible supporters into a state of self-destruct with their regular insinuations of half-truth and half lies. And now we have all stumbled over the precipice and only God knows where we are heading!

As we can all see Guyana is truly now in the state of self-destruction and I doubt anyone could have fathomed this deplorable state of affairs? What utter madness and waste of valuable human lives at the hands of out of control bandits. When will the terror end? When will wake up and put an end to criminality?

The police in Guyana reminds me of the west Indies cricket team who can’s seem to understand they are playing to win. These police seem to be the worst in the history of our country and can’t even seem to solve any crime, no matter how simple. Are they that incompetent and unprofessional that they don’t even seem to have the basic tenets of what police functions are? What about pride and integrity and, patriotism, loyalty to one’s country and its people? At least they should have the sense of decency to understand that loyalty to ones country is more important than loyalty to a political group. It is a disgust and a blatant shame at how the police operates in the execution of their sworn duties!

Whilst the politicians grovel around on their laurels it is the people of our country that are paying with their lives everyday. The guns are haunting all of us. Buxton has only been the beginning. Tomorrow will be Linden, then Golden Grove, then maybe Industry and Bettetrhope to follow… Criminals have no allegiance to anyone. They serve their own self-interest and self-preservation and seek to establish power roost with the biggest guns out for hire. Already everyone can see a pattern evolving of several armed groups waging their own wars in an effort to wrest control from the state authority.

Those benefiting from the criminal’s booty are embracing them as heroes, freedom fighters, but it will be only a matter of time before the hand that fed the dog will be bitten. What goes round comes round. It was rather unfortunate Waddell went the way he did. Many more in the years to come will have to flee from the very criminals they are bedding with support and silent consent.

Guyana is too precious to let this warped and degrading way of doing things continue unabated. We are a smart and intelligent people. Let us join together and wrestle order and decency back to our country. Let take pride in being honest, upright, and full of integrity. Let us began a campaign of condemning the criminals and start reporting their activities to the police hotline. Let us pressure the police to do what is ethically right.
What will you do?
