Attempts To Overthrow Legitimate Government

Guyana Government Threatened

Sources claimed that the opposition has the weapons and personnel to overthrow the official elected PPP/C government in Guyana, a small country north of Brazil on the South American continent. Most of the weapons and gunment are observed to be hanging out in the "gulf" in south Buxton a notorious village on the East Coast of Demerara. Police and the army have failed so far to rid the country of these criminals hiding out in the backlands. The criminals have however not failed to strike with deadly precision on a regular basis. In a brazen attempt of show of force last week the criminals took over the dead body of controversial talk show host Ronald Waddell and took him into the gulf whilst the police looked on helplessly.

With elections imminent, fear has gripped every community with the possibility that the PNC/R will attempt to first destabilize the country then attempt to seize power illegally. Sources further claimed the PPP/C government is appealing to the USA and Great Britain for intervention in the event of any such action.

So far the PNC/R has been drumming up confusion by attacking the election commission. A few years back the opposition supporters turned on one of its own party commissioner and beat him mercilessly in Sophia for declaring the election free and fair. Tension is stifling in Guyana.

Lets pray for peace and hope the politicians will put Guyana first.
